Dr. Norm Magnuson

Dr. Magnuson has been practicing dentistry since 1982. He obtained his Bachelor of Science from the University of Oregon (Go Ducks!) and graduated from Georgetown University Dental School. He is active in many dental organizations and advanced study groups, including the Oregon Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, Emerald Dental Study Group, the Lane County Dental Society and the Oregon Board of Dentistry.

Dr. Magnuson and his wife, Debby, have three children. Their daughter and oldest son graduated form George Fox University and their youngest son attended there. Their daughter is a teacher and married in 2005. Their oldest son also married in 2005 is a dental assistant and is applying to dental school and their youngest son married in 2007 attended George Fox University and enlisted in the US Army. He is an honor guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Washington, DC.

Dr. Magnuson is involved in his church. He enjoys golf, fly fishing, hobby farming and traveling.

Debby Magnuson - Office Manager

Debby Magnuson, Dr. Magnuson's wife, was a full time homemaker before she began working in our practice in 1997. She received her Bachelor of Science from Oregon State University (although she's actually a Duck fan!) Debby is actively involved in her church, youth organizations, and mentoring youth. Her passion is the Lane County Volunteer Dental Care Day (4 to 5 times a year) and Give Kids a Smile.

She enjoys soccer, working with youth, teaching, traveling, farming, animals, scrapbooking, baking and canning, sewing, reading and doing activities with her family. (She's always busy! You'll notice that when you meet her.)

Sandy Henry - Dental Hygienist

Sandy graduated from Lane Community College with a degree in Dental Hygiene. She focuses on quality, compassionate care with an emphasis on prevention and periodontal health. Sandy feels it is important to stay current on the latest research in order to provide the best care for her patients. Sandy is married with two children, and has lived in Eugene since 1962. She enjoys camping, gardening, tennis, traveling, snorkeling and cooking. She also volunteers at her children's schools.

Jeanette Anderson - Dental Hygienist

Jeanette has been a practicing hygienist for 17 years. She obtained her Applied Science degree from Lane Community College, graduating on the President's List of Academic Achievements. She feels that to be able to provide the most comprehensive and beneficial care for her patients, it is a priority to stay informed of the current trends and issues and the latest research, Her focus is on excellence and empathetic care.

Jeanette is married with three children and five grandchildren. She has live in Lane County since 1989. She enjoys working with the public, traveling, playing piano, gourmet cooking, arts & crafts, gradening, snowboarding and water sports. She also volunteers at the free dental clinics and Magnuson Dental.

Ryan Magnuson - Dental Assistant

Ryan graduated from George Fox University with a bachelor in Sciences, Biology. He enjoys working with his family in the practice. Ryan is applying to dental school and hopes to come back and work in the practice once he graduates. Ryan married Bethany in 2005 and they have a son named Isaac. He loves golfing, fishing, riding dirt bikes, woodworking and hanging out with his family.

Melissa Stookey - Dental Assistant

Melissa graduated from Lane Community College as an expanded functions dental assistant in 2003. She loves working with so many different people, with so many different needs. Melissa is an Equestrian 4-H Leader, Oregon High School Equestrian Team Leader. She enjoys hiking, gardening and spending time with her family.

Sadie - Patients Relations

I have been taking care of patients needs since November 2002. I have a high level of concern for patients in the office. If you would like to find me, I can be found under the front desk (sleeping). If you just whistle or call, I will come running (ok, maybe not running so much these days).

Sofie - Patient Relations

I have been a part of the office since September 2009. I am a high energy, loving and devoted worker. I often am the first to greet you when you enter the door. My favorite thing to do is play catch with my tennis balls. I also love my favorite toy (it looks like a dog and I almost have all the cotton out of it).
